Who can I Get the Paytm First Card?
Paytm First Card application has been opened only for selected customers currently due to high number of requests. This feature is available on the latest version of Paytm app. You can click on the Paytm First Card icon or find the Paytm First card option in the menu to begin the application for Paytm First card. Please fill the details correctly and submit the form. Once the application is approved, a Citibank representative will reach out to you to complete the KYC process. Once the application is approved, the Paytm First card will be mailed to your communication address with the welcome letter.
Where can I use Paytm First card?
The Paytm First card can be used in both online and offline transactions. The card is shipped to you in an activated state. You can use It for online purchases right away. Once you generate a PIN, you can use your card to make payments at any merchant establishment that accepts VISA cards.You can also use the Paytm First card to add money your Paytm wallet.

Paytm First card offers multiple benefits to it’s customers such as unlimited 1% cashback with the convenience of auto-processing. Paytm first card also comes with complimentary Paytm First membership for 1 year.
How do I earn and redeem cashback?
The customer will earn 1% unlimited cashback on all card spends, which will be automatically credited after the monthly bill generation. This cashback will be credited within 2 working days of bill generation.
How do I get Credit card statement?
Once the bill is generated, it will be sent to your registered email address. You can also view and download the bill by logging into citibank website online.
Is there an annual fee for Paytm First card?
Paytm First card comes with an annual fee of Rs.500 which is waived off when you spend Rs.50,000 or more in a membership year.
How will I get my Paytm First card monthly bill?
The Paytm First card bill will be sent on a monthly basis to your registered email address by Citibank once the bill is generated.
How will I pay my Paytm First card bill?
You can pay the Paytm first card bill on Paytm itself by going in the Paytm First card passbook.
My Paytm First card is lost/stolen. What should I do?
If your Paytm First card is stolen or lost, please login to Citibank Online or the Citi Mobile app at once and report your lost or stolen card in the service requests section in the menu.
When will my Paytm First Membership will be activated?
If you applied for Paytm First Credit Card on or before 30th November 2019, then your Paytm First Membership will get activated within 5 working days of your credit card being booked
If you applied for Paytm First Credit Card after 30th November 2019, your Paytm First membership would be activated within 5 working days after total spends of Rs.100 on your Paytm First Credit Card. These transactions have to be made within one year of card issuance
What if I already have an active Paytm First membership?
If you applied for Paytm First Credit Card on or before 30th November 2019, you will receive cashback of the amount paid for Paytm First membership within 5 working days of your credit card being booked
If you applied for Paytm First Credit Card after 30th November 2019, you will get a complimentary 100% discount voucher for Paytm First membership, which can be shared with friends/family. These codes will be shared over SMS/email within 5 working days after total spends of Rs.100 on your Paytm First Credit Card. These transactions have to be made within one year of card issuance
If you are a regular shopper at Paytm and also happy with the 1% cashback, it is the perfect Credi card for you. Also, it will be credited to your card account.
If you are a frequent spender having a card offering reward points in excess of 1.25–1.5% (because they are RPs and not cash), it totally makes sense for you to take it for first year, use all the promocodes of Rs 10,000 as well as other offers and may be decide if its worthwhile in next year (not a problem if it remains free of course).
If you have other high-end cards which offer returns like 2.5 – 3.33%, it may not make sense for you. Just that you may want to use it for its benefits but your cards already are providing much more than that.
